# Add Privatus Analytics to Publii

> Add cookieless analytics to a Publii static site with the Advanced Head Tag Manager and its head code field, with no cookies and no banner.

1. In Publii go to **Tools & Plugins** and turn on **Advanced Head Tag
   Manager**.
2. Open the plugin's settings and find **Global Changes**.
3. Paste the snippet into the **<head> code to add** field:

   ```html
   <script defer src="https://privatusstats.com/js/pa.js" data-site="pa_YOURSITEID" data-modules="engage,auto,vitals,clicks,ask"></script>
   ```

4. Save, then sync or render your site again.

Code in **Global Changes** applies to the head of all pages. If you enable
changes for a section such as Posts or the Homepage, that section's own head
code replaces the global code for that page type, so paste the snippet there
too.
