# The Privatus Analytics app for Webflow

> Connect Webflow to Privatus Analytics and add the tracking script to your Webflow sites without editing custom code, then publish.

> **Warning:** The app is not in the Webflow Marketplace. Don't install an
> app called Privatus Analytics from the marketplace: it is not ours,
> whoever published it. Use the [custom code snippet](/docs/install/webflow)
> or the page below, which starts from Privatus Analytics, until this page
> says the app is listed.

The app adds the tracking script to every page of a Webflow site for
you, as site-wide custom code. It is the same script as the
[snippet](/docs/install/webflow), so everything on that page (events
without code, the staging domain) works the same way.

## Connect Webflow

1. Open [Webflow in Privatus Analytics](/webflow) and click
   **Connect Webflow**.
2. On Webflow's screen, pick the sites the app may use and click
   **Authorize**.

## Add the script

Each of your Webflow sites is listed. Pick the Privatus Analytics site it
reports to and click **Add the script**. Then **publish** the site in
Webflow: custom code only runs on the published site, never in the
Designer. **Remove the script** takes it off again on the next publish.

Your Webflow site needs a paid site plan for custom code, as it does for
the snippet.

## Disconnect

**Disconnect Webflow** takes the script off every site it was added to,
revokes the app's access and deletes its token. Publish the sites to
finish. Removing the app in Webflow also stops it, and we delete the
token the next time Webflow refuses it.

## What the app can do

It asks Webflow to read your sites and to read and write custom code.
It keeps Webflow's token (encrypted), and for each site it set up, the
Webflow site's id and name, the Privatus Analytics site and the id of the
script it registered.
