# Add Privatus Analytics to Micro.blog

> Add privacy-friendly analytics to a Micro.blog site with the Custom Footer on the Design page, which runs on every page.

1. In Micro.blog go to the **Design** page.
2. Click **Custom Footer** and paste the snippet:

   ```html
   <script defer src="https://privatusstats.com/js/pa.js" data-site="pa_YOURSITEID" data-modules="engage,auto,vitals,clicks,ask"></script>
   ```

3. Save.

Micro.blog adds the custom footer to each page just before the closing body
tag. The script uses `defer`, so it works from there.

A custom theme must include the footer partial in its base template
(`baseof.html`) or the code won't appear. The official themes already do.
