# Add Privatus Analytics to Teachable

> Add cookieless analytics to a Teachable school with a global head code snippet, and learn what the snippet does not reach on SSO login and checkout.

Code Snippets need the Teachable Builder plan or higher.

1. In your school go to **Site → Code Snippets**.
2. Paste the snippet into **Head Code Snippets (Global)**:

   ```html
   <script defer src="https://privatusstats.com/js/pa.js" data-site="pa_YOURSITEID" data-modules="engage,auto,vitals,clicks,ask"></script>
   ```

3. Click **Save**.

The global head snippet applies to every user and page. Teachable also has
**Logged In Snippets** and **Logged Out Snippets** if you want to limit the
tracker to one group. See Teachable's article
[Code snippets and custom CSS](https://support.teachable.com/en/articles/11682515-code-snippets-and-custom-css).

## SSO and checkout

Head code snippets don't affect pages on the SSO login and checkout host
(`sso.teachable.com`), so visits there are not counted.

## Custom domains

Hits are only stored for hostnames among your site's domains. Add your
school's custom domain, and any `teachable.com` address you test on, as an
[additional domain](/docs/getting-started/add-a-site#more-settings-under-site-settings-general).
