# Dashboard keyboard shortcuts

> Every keyboard shortcut in the Privatus Analytics dashboard: date range presets, comparison, filters, segments, the Live page, and how to turn hotkeys off.

Press `?` on any page of the app to open this list. Shortcuts are single
keys, without Ctrl, Alt or Cmd, and are ignored while you type in a
field. Turn them off with **Keyboard shortcuts** in **Account settings →
Preferences**.

On the Overview and every other page with the date and filter toolbar
(drill-down tables, page detail, Events, Journeys and more):

| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| `T` | Today |
| `Y` | Yesterday |
| `W` | Last 7 days |
| `M` | Last 30 days |
| `Q` | Quarter to date |
| `A` | All time |
| `C` | Turn the comparison with the previous period on or off |
| `F` | Open the filter builder |
| `S` | Open the segment menu (when the site has segments) |
| `Esc` | Clear all filters (when filters are active) |

On the Overview only:

On list pages:

| `N` | New item, on Goals, Funnels, Notes (of a site), Campaign costs, Links, Alerts, Email reports and Dashboards. Shown when you may create one |
| `E` | Edit, on a custom dashboard |

On every app page:

| `K` | Open the site switcher. Type to search, press `Enter` to open the first match, or use the arrow keys |

`Esc` also closes the Ask panel and the site switcher. In these docs, `/` focuses the search
box.
