# Add Privatus Analytics to Blogger

> Add privacy-friendly analytics to a Blogger blog by adding the snippet to your theme's HTML head, then save the theme.

1. Sign in to Blogger and select your blog.
2. In the left menu open **Theme**. Under **My theme**, click **More** (the
   three dots) and choose **Edit HTML**.
3. Paste the snippet just above the closing `</head>` tag:

   ```html
   <script defer src="https://privatusstats.com/js/pa.js" data-site="pa_YOURSITEID" data-modules="engage,auto,vitals,clicks,ask"></script>
   ```

4. Save.

Download a backup of the theme first. Blogger pages load fully, so the
default settings work.
