# Add Privatus Analytics to Thinkific

> Add cookieless analytics to a Thinkific site with the Site Footer Code field in Code and Analytics settings, and see which checkout page it skips.

1. In the Admin Dashboard go to **Settings**.
2. Open the **Code & Analytics** tab.
3. Paste the snippet into **Site Footer Code**:

   ```html
   <script defer src="https://privatusstats.com/js/pa.js" data-site="pa_YOURSITEID" data-modules="engage,auto,vitals,clicks,ask"></script>
   ```

4. Click **Save**.

Thinkific's article [Site Footer Code](https://support.thinkific.com/hc/en-us/articles/360030724953-Site-Footer-Code)
says the code runs on most pages and that you can add more than one script.
Scripts that apps install are managed separately and don't appear in this
field.

## Checkout

The Performance Checkout does not run Site Footer Code, so visits to it are
not counted. The tracker uses `defer`, so the footer position does not slow
your pages.

## Custom domains

Hits are only stored for hostnames among your site's domains. Add your
custom domain, and any Thinkific address you test on, as an
[additional domain](/docs/getting-started/add-a-site#more-settings-under-site-settings-general).
