No surprise charges, ever
- We email you at 80% of your monthly allowance, with a link to upgrade.
- At 100%, we pause collection and email you again. Your sites keep working and your data stays.
- Collection resumes on the 1st of the next month, or right away when you upgrade.
- We never charge you more unless you choose to upgrade.
Prefer never to pause? Turn on automatic upgrades in billing settings and we'll move you to the next tier at the limit and charge the difference. Off by default.

Pricing questions
Is there a free trial?
Start on the Free plan with no card required. It includes the core analytics, so you can try Privatus Analytics on real traffic for as long as you like, and upgrade when you need more.
Will I ever get a surprise charge?
No surprise charges, ever. When you reach your monthly limit we pause collection and email you. We never charge you more unless you choose to upgrade, or you turned on automatic upgrades yourself (they are off by default).
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
We email you at 80% and again at 100%. At 100%, collection pauses for all your sites until the count resets on the 1st of the next month, or until you upgrade. Your sites keep working, visitors never see an error, and your existing data and dashboards stay available.
What is the badge bonus?
If you show a small Privatus Analytics badge on your site, the Free plan allows 20k events a month instead of 10k. It’s optional.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then your workspace moves to the Free plan. No questions, no retention calls.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
We keep everything for 60 days so you can reactivate. After that your workspace continues on the Free plan, and data beyond its limits, such as history older than 6 months, is deleted. Deleting a workspace removes its data after 7 days, and copies in backups expire in the normal backup cycle of our managed database service. You can export everything at any time.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Cards and PayPal are accepted, and Paddle shows any other methods available in your country at checkout.
Do prices include VAT or sales tax?
Yes. Prices include VAT or sales tax. The price you see is the price you pay. Paddle, our merchant of record, works out the tax for your country from that price and shows the breakdown on your invoice. Businesses can add a VAT or tax ID at checkout, and it appears on the invoice.
Can I get invoices, and pay in EUR or GBP?
Yes. Invoices are available as PDFs in billing settings, with your company details and tax ID. Prices are set in US dollars. Where available, checkout shows the price in EUR or GBP.
Do API calls count toward my plan?
No. API and MCP calls never count as events, and neither do Web Vitals, uptime checks, imports or bots.
