How a visit is formed without cookies
Each request is matched to a visit with a key computed in memory from a daily random value, the site, the IP address and the user agent. The random value is never stored and is destroyed each day, and the stored visit ID is random. Visits end after 30 minutes of inactivity or at midnight UTC. Read the full privacy model.
What journeys can't do
They can't follow anyone across days, devices or sites.
