Migration guide

Migrate from Clicky

Export daily reports from Clicky and import them with the Clicky template. Visitor-level logs are not imported, because Privatus Analytics only works with aggregates.

Steps

  1. 1

    Create a free account and add your site

    Sign up and add the domain. The Free plan needs no card.

  2. 2

    Add the Privatus Analytics snippet next to your current tool

    Run both for two to four weeks so you can compare numbers and check goals before switching.

  3. 3

    Recreate goals and funnels

    Goals apply retroactively in Privatus Analytics, so goals you define now also cover the data collected since you installed the snippet.

    Export daily reports

    Export CSV reports (pages, referrers, locations, devices) by day.

  5. 5

    Import with the Clicky template

    In Site settings, Imports, choose the Clicky template and review the mapping.

  6. 6

    Recreate goals and checks

    Rebuild goals and funnels, and move uptime monitors to Privatus Analytics uptime checks.
