Migrate from Fathom

Steps

1. 1

   Create a free account and add your site

   Sign up and add the domain. The Free plan needs no card.

2. 2

   Add the Privatus Analytics snippet next to your current tool

   Run both for two to four weeks so you can compare numbers and check goals before switching.

3. 3

   Recreate goals and funnels

   Goals apply retroactively in Privatus Analytics, so goals you define now also cover the data collected since you installed the snippet.

   Export from Fathom

   Use Fathom's export to download CSV files for the sites you're moving.

   Import with the Fathom template

   In Site settings, Imports, choose CSV import and the Fathom template, check the mapping and start.

6. 6

   Recreate events as goals

   Fathom events map to Privatus Analytics custom events. Add properties if you want more detail than a name and value.
