Migrate from Plausible

Steps

1. 1

   Create a free account and add your site

   Sign up and add the domain. The Free plan needs no card.

2. 2

   Add the Privatus snippet next to your current tool

   Run both for two to four weeks so you can compare numbers and check goals before switching.

3. 3

   Recreate goals and funnels

   Goals apply retroactively in Privatus, so goals you define now also cover the data collected since you installed the snippet.

4. 4

   Export from Plausible

   Use Plausible's CSV export for the full date range.

5. 5

   Import with the Plausible template

   In Site settings, Imports, choose the Plausible template and review the mapping.

6. 6

   Recreate goals and funnels

   Custom events and goals map to Privatus events and goals.
