Migrate from Simple Analytics

Steps

   Create a free account and add your site

   Sign up and add the domain. The Free plan needs no card.

2. 2

   Add the Privatus Analytics snippet next to your current tool

   Run both for two to four weeks so you can compare numbers and check goals before switching.

3. 3

   Recreate goals and funnels

   Goals apply retroactively in Privatus Analytics, so goals you define now also cover the data collected since you installed the snippet.

   Export your data

   Download CSV exports for the date range you want to keep.

   Import with the template

   In Site settings, Imports, choose the Simple Analytics template and review the mapping.

   Compare how visitors are counted

   Simple Analytics creates no identifier. Privatus Analytics forms one-day visits in memory with a key it never stores, which adds session funnels and journeys.
