Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles sales tax and VAT worldwide and issues the invoices.

Prices include VAT or sales tax. The price you see is the price you pay. Paddle works out the tax for your country from that price, so a $9 plan costs $9 at checkout wherever you are.

  • Payment methods: cards and the other methods Paddle offers in your country (such as PayPal). Enterprise contracts can be paid by invoice.
  • Currencies: USD, EUR and GBP.
  • Tax id / VAT number: enter it in the Paddle checkout when you subscribe, and add it under Workspace settings → Billing. Business customers get a proper tax invoice from Paddle with their company details and tax id. Where a reverse charge applies, Paddle handles it and the invoice says so.
  • Invoices: every payment has a PDF invoice in Workspace settings → Billing. The invoice shows the tax breakdown: the net amount, the tax rate and the tax included in the price. Billing emails can go to one or more addresses (for example your accounts team) instead of the owner.
  • Failed payments: Paddle retries and emails you. Update the payment method from the billing page. Your data keeps being collected meanwhile.
  • Refunds: you can get a full refund of any payment, renewals included, if you ask within 30 days of that payment. Email [email protected] or ask Paddle at paddle.net. The money goes back to the payment method you used, and the refunded period ends, so the workspace moves to the Free plan. See the refund policy.
  • Billing questions: contact support from the help menu.
